In der Literatur des 19. Jahrhunderts gibt es ein Kaninchen mit einer Taschenuhr.
Es ruft: »Oh Gott oh Gott ich komme zu spät!«
Die Protagonistin der Erzählung folgt dem Kaninchen in seinen Bau unter der Erde.
Heute würde das Kaninchen eher eine Armbanduhr tragen. Eine wertvolle Uhr ist nicht einfach ein Zeitmesser, sondern ein Symbol, ein Meta-Objekt.
Man erwartet davon macht wie vom Ring und Tarnhelm bei Wagner.
